PostSubject: Re: 19th House Quidditch: Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor: 5th-9th   Sat Jul 05 2008, 09:18

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

Skie rolled over in her bed, her body enveloped in the darkness of sleep and her favorite blanket. Then, the inevitable happened. Her alarm rang. Skie shot out of bed, her conscious thrust from blissful quiet to the real world so quickly that it was hard to adjust. Skie rubbed her face in between her hands as her alarm clock yelled, ‘It’s a quidditch game day today! It’s a quidditch game day today! It’s a quidditch game day today, you have a quidditch game!’ to the tune of it’s a small world over and over and over again.

“Okay, okay, I’m up. Geez, can’t you shut up?” Skie said groggily at her alarm clock as her hands groped for the off button. Deciding to turn it to her favorite C.D. instead (I mean after all, what’s a quidditch game without a little music) Skie was blasted into the present by Cute is What We Aim For’s Practice Makes Perfect. Humming the tune under her breath, Skie smoothed down her now very short hair and proceeded to put on her clothes. Slipping on her quidditch boots, Skie realized that one was, unfortunately, missing.

“Are you kidding me?” Skie wondered out loud. Rummaging through her bags and under her bed, Skie found her boot beneath a pile of dirty clothes, and being chewed on by a rat. Shaking the rat off, Skie found a large hole in the toe of the boot and sighed. “Reparo,” Skie muttered as the toe of her boot was immediately fixed, albeit, smoking slightly, but fixed nonetheless. Pulling one the boots without bothering to untie the laces, Skie rushed down into the Great Hall to grab a bite to eat before getting out onto the quidditch pitch.

“Yum!” Skie said, taking a huge glass of chocolate milk. Hearing her stomach grumble, Skie decided it would be safe to have a granola bar too, so she kidnapped one from the table and stuffed it into her mouth. Feeling the familiar butterflies in her stomach, Skie slowed her pace and ran her fingers through her hair, spiking the back. Okay, are you can do this. It’s just a normal game right? Skie’s attempt to reassure herself was not working. Well, this is the first time you’re filling in for Rose as captain… You better do a good job or Rose’ll kill you, and then your team will kill you and you’ll be really dead. The innocent- like voice in Skie’s head was only multiplying her worries, making her head begin to throb and a droplet of sweat start trickle down her neck. Not helping, growled Skie to the voice. Walking into the locker room, thoroughly nervous, and grabbing her new broom, Timothy Jr., a firebolt, Skie walked out onto the pitch with a face as pale as a ghost.

“Hm…” Skie murmured behind her still lips. Scanning the bright pitch for anyone she knew, Skie realized that she was the first one out on the green field. Woohoo! Skie thought, This is so cool! As the butterflies in her stomach disappeared and Skie stopped needing to puke her guts out, she smiled broadly. Feeling uplifted, Skie put her leg over her broom and was lifted into the air. The sky was a perfect cloudless blue, and Skie could feel the buzz and excitement of the crowd beneath. Getting a spontaneous idea, Skie flew over to the Hufflepuff part of the stands and did a few backflips.

“ARE YOU READY HUFFLEPUFF?” Skie screamed during the middle of one of her flips. Hearing the rewarding yells of the crowd, Skie flew back to the middle of the pitch to get ready to start the game and to see when anyone else from her team would show up. “C’mon you guys!” Skie muttered, her head beginning to spin. Anticipation for the game to begin was eating her alive.

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kate woke with a bang. "OUCH!" She cried splayed on the floor. She got up, laid back down onto the bed and tried to remember why it had thrown her out. "QUIDDITCH!" She suddenly screamed. "Oh no! I CANT be late today!" It was her first day back and she was looking forward to playing.

Kate got up again out of bed and picked up her robes. "What am I missing?" She looked around the room. "OH YES! Broom!!!" She grabbed her Firebolt 01, "LETS GO!!" She cried.

When she arrived in the changing rooms she spared no time hanging around and pulled on her robes. To energetic to wait around for the others, she picked up her broom and ran out onto the pitch. Seeing Skie out there already she shouted "GO GO BADGERS!!!" as she mounted her broom and zoomed into the air. "Hiya" She said to Skie.

So where is everyone else? She asked herself looking round at the crowd of cheering spectators.

(Hufflpuff Beater)

Etta yawned as she heard a stampede of excited feet upon the stairs and through out the Hufflepuff Tower. Glancing at her bedside clock she checked the time, hissed and rolled back over, pulling the quilt up over her eyes and burrowing her head under her pillow.

Zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz "OUCH!"

Etta sat bolt up in her bed, her fingers gripping her wand ready to Avada Kedavra who ever it was who had just smack her hard around the head. HEr eyes narrowed on her broom which was floating in mid air, next to it was an innocent looking first year holding her Quidditch Robes and Beater's bat.

The first year started to back away suddenly as Etta aimed her wand and blasted a spell at his feet.

"Miss Rose told me to wake you, exactly that!" he squealed, because right now he looked half human, half pig and with a tail to match.

Grabbing her robes, broom and Bat, Etta stalked from her bedroom with as much dignity as one possibly could whilst dressed in their underwear.

Shocked eyes stared at her as she walked and dress, shooting spells left right and centre at the house members.

"Do some homework!" she barked slamming the tower door shut.

Walking as slowly as possible, Etta arrived on the pitch. Her eyes scanned the sky and she spotted her team mates.

Swinging on leg over broom, Etta kicked off into the air.

"Skie! Kate! When Rose gets back, remind me to tie her up by the toenails!" Etta shouted as rain began to gently fall.

Shaking her head and waking up, Etta held her bat in the air like a first class solider holding a sword, preparing to fight.

"BADGERS TO ARMS! FIGHT FIGHT FIGHT!" she shouted to everyone. Then quietly she added. "The evil overlord is here and ready to hurt."

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Hey Kate, Hey Etta!" Skie yelled, waving to her friends. Okay, two down... a bunch to go... Skie thought as she surveyed the pitch for anyone who was showing up. Spinning in a couple of circles on her broom, Skie saw a butterfly on the other side of the pitch. "Oooh! Butterfly!" Racing over to see the butterfly, Skie prodded it with her wand while hovering above the ground. "Hi little butterfly! How are you today?" When the butterfly didn't say anything, Skie's lower lip jutted out. "Aw man, is a talking butterfly to much to ask for theses days?" Hunching her shoulders on her broom, Skie flew over to where Kate and Etta were.

"Butterflies just aren't as interesting as they used to be," Sighed Skie, her features drooping. "Oh well!" Immediately, Skie's face lit up into an excited smile, all that sugar she had eaten was beginning to have an effect on her. "So, are you guys ready to rock this pitch and eat some lions for breakfast?" Skie was instantly bombarded with the hilarious vision of a badger and a lion having an eating competition. Giggling, Skie did a roll while waiting for a reply and for both the Gryffies and the rest of the Hufflepuffs to show. It was still early in the game, so Skie wasn't worried yet, but that very familiar nervousness was beginning to make itself known.

Now your just being silly, the balls haven't even been released. Your going to get gray hairs if this keeps up! The usually right part of her brain was making total sense, but that didn't stop Skie from worrying. It was becoming something of a habit with her... I will not get gray hair early, you! Thought Skie, although she could picture it happening. Ho- hum, ho- hum Skie's thoughts began to scatter as she bounced up and down on her broom excitedly. Poor Rose, Etta's gonna kill her! Skie reflected as she imagined Etta's threat and Rose's face.

"Poke her with a needle, much more effective," Skie told Etta. "She's utterly terrified of them!" Laughing, Skie suddenly realized something important. "Oops, I guess that makes me a traitor. Sorry Rose, wherever you are!"

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Etta grinned at Skie and saluted.

i'll string her up by her toe nails and then stick needles in her feet, she thought to herself, suddenly realising she was sitting on her broom in mid air doing a Monty Burns impression.

Clearing her throat Etta remembered something of importance.

"Matthew is currently being held hostage by Bobette," she annouced to Skie and Kate. "He made the mistake of beating her at table tennis, so now she wont let him go until she wins."

Etta thought for a moment.

"And he doesnt have any Quidditch robes because Bobette fed them to Bobina," Etta smiled sweetly and added cheerfully. "He should be along at some point though."

Etta looked at the crowd and at her team mates.

time for the Hufflepuff Shuffle she decided looking at them all.

"COME ON GUYS!" she shouted loudly, getting everyone's attention. "Time for the Hufflepuff Shuffle!"

Standing up on her broom and pointing her wand at the crowd, Etta made sure everyone was wearing Badger suits and grinned.

"Ready? OKAY! Let's do this!

"Shake that leg, shake that leg, whack that bat, whack that bat," sang Etta as she and the crowd perfomed the Hufflepuff Shuffle. "Work it like its ya birthday. Shuffle to the left, shuffle to the right, one step back and bring those knees in tight, Olly Oop! Watch us score! Bagders at ready, rar rar rar!

"Turn to the left and see your friend, turn to the right and die of fright. Look at those Lions all furry and small, they're just kitty cats without a ball, shuffle to the left, shuffle to the right, one step back, bring those knees in tight, Olly Oop, watch us score, Olly Oop, Those lions dont even know how to roar!"

Etta stopped dancing and tried to catch her breath.

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kate smiled at the crowd who were doing the Hufflepuff Shuffle. "How long do you think it'll be until Bobette lets Matthew go and Bobina regurgitates his robes?" She asked Etta, turning to face her.

"Hey Skie, what were the butterfly's like before? Any more talkative?" Kate grinned.

"How long till those lions arrive you think?" She asked them both.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

Skie roared with laughter as Etta and the Hufflepuff crowd performed the Hufflepuff Shuffle in the ceremonial badger suits. Feeling the excitement on the field soar to a fever pitch, Skie flew over to Etta and waved at the crowd, gesturing for them to get up and scream. "SO WHO'S GONNA WIN THIS MATCH?" Skie yelled at the top of her lungs, the sound deafening to anyone nearby.

"HUFFLEPUFF IS GONNA WIN THIS GAME!" Skie screamed with the crowd as she saw a huge wave of yellow and black badgers rise from the stands and begin the most cliche form of team worship known to human kind. "GO HUFFLEPUFF! HUFFLEPUFF!" Skie's voice was beginning to weaken and her throat was beginning to get raw and red, but if it kept the fans screaming from the stands and raised morale, it would be totally worth it if she didn't have her voice tomorrow. And maybe then she wouldn't have to answer questions in class...

"So Etta, Matthew's being held hostage by Bobbette for beating her at Table tennis?" Skie asked, turning towards Etta. "Poor boy, I hope that he lives to see the light..." Skie was bombarded by the hilarious vision of Matthew stumbling around the pitch beaten and sore, and without his quidditch robes. "Well, bat or no bat, robes, or no robes, beaten and bleeding or not beaten and bleeding, eaten or not eaten, he better show up or I'll send Bobette after him again. Giving a mental evil laugh, Skie vibrated with contained energy on her broom as she waited for the pitch to fill up.

"Oh, and Kate, I've never been spoken to by a real butterfly, but someday I'll talk to one. Someday. I make it sound like stuff happens 'cuz saying it sounds cool. I just like sounding like a grumpy old lady sometimes, you know with the 'When I was young', and the 'Get out of here you punks'!" Giggling Skie poked Kate and then stared at ground, waiting for the Gryffies to show up. "Hurry up and get here, I'm getting hungry..."

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kate laughed and zoomed around the pitch once. Come on you lazy lot. She thought to herself imagining her other team mates still lounging around in bed and as for the Lions, well.

"Hey! Skie,"
Kate called, "What do you think Etta'll do to Rose when she gets hold of her?" and, thinking about Rose running away from Etta, she laughed again almost falling off her broom. "Woopsie!" She grinned, "Must be a result of no brekkie! Cant wait for the fabric à la lion!" Kate said to Skie, laughing.

PostSubject: Re: 19th House Quidditch: Hufflepuff vs. Gryffindor: 5th-9th   Sat Jul 05 2008, 19:43

(Gryffindor Seeker)

I'm Henry VIII, I am. Henry VIII I am, I am.
I got married to the widow next door.
She's been married seven times before,
and everyone was an 'Enry.
Wouldn't have a Willy or a Sam (no Sam!)
I'm her eighth old man, I'm Henry.
Henry VIII I am!

That was the song Pamela was singing as she skipped all around the common room. The verse just repeated itself over and over. She loved the song, and the band that made it famous, but even she had to admit it was rather annoying. That's why she wasn't overly surprised when a very groggy seventh year finally shouted, "would you please shut up!"

"Sorry," was Pamela's reply. "Don't you like Herman's Hermits?" She couldn't really make out the other Gryffindor's reply, but judging from the tone, Pamela probably didn't really want to. I better head down to the pitch anyway. Can't be too late to the game.

Pamela had honestly woke in an exceptionally good mood. That often proved dangerous, if the truth be told. She wondered if what she was about to do would be frowned upon by her captains, but for some reason, she didn't care. Using a magically enchanted razor, she completely removed all the hair from both sides of her head. She was left with a strip of longish hair gonig down the back. Then she used her wand to change the colour to scarlet and gold stripes, and spiked it tall and stiff.

After her hair was done, Pamela put on some exceptionally bright make-up. It was in the style that had become popular of late; Kat Von D from L.A. Ink frequently sported the look that was reminiscent of the old-time pin-up girls. Looking in the mirror she admired her brand new Gryffie-hawk and totally different make-up. Smirking with her right eyebrow raised, she held her hands up in the "rock on" sign...characteristic look of her old alter-ego, Thunder Strong. She hadn't portrayed said character in a long time, and Pamela decided it would be fun to do it today--to some degree at least.

Swinging her gym bag over her shoulder, Pamela slipped into a stride that clearly exuded confidence bordering on apparent arrogance. She pulled her iPod out of her pocket, and popped her headphones in her ears. She scrolled down her list until she came across a very specific playlist and pushed play. Immediately, "Wrong Bathroom" by Tribe 8 started playing. By the time she made it out to the pitch, Pamela was singing along to a different song. It was called "Rebel Girl" and was by Bikini Kill, but she had to be careful around professors and first years about the chunks she sang out loud.

That girl thinks shes the queen of the neighborhood
Shes got the hottest trike in town
That girl she holds her head up so high
I think I wanna be her bestfriend

Rebel girl, rebel girl
Rebel girl you are the queen of my world
Rebel girl, rebel girl
I think I wanna take you home
I wanna try on your clothes too

As she mounted her broom, Pamela decided to stop singing. The memory of a bug flying into her mouth once, came vividly back to her. As she lifted high into the air, Pamela relished in the feeling of the light shower on her face. Oddly, though, despite her inner joy, she never betrayed it on her face. That still held the slightly conceited look of her beloved character. She wondered what her teammates and opponents would think of the in-between character than friends in the past had called Thunderella. Speaking of opponents... Pamela gave a quick nod to each of the three Hufflepuff team members on the field to greet them before starting some warm-up manuevers. It was nice to be out on time again.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Yum... Lions..." Skie's vision of a juicy red steak with a lion's tale clashed utterly with her vegetarian lifestyle, and the fact the the Gryffindor Seeker was right in front of her wasn't helping the image. As she waved at Pamela, Skie couldn't help wondering what lion meat would taste like... Gross, probably. Who would want to kill a cute lion after all? She wouldn't! Well, as long as they stayed away from badgers at least. "Okay, mental image erase... Hm... how about tofu steak with a lion's tale?" Skie wondered and then snorted as she wondered at her own lack of sanity. I wonder if there are any straightjackets in the locker room? Skie thought before answering Kate. "Well Kate, I can't actually EAT the lions, but I'll cook them and you can eat them!" Skie said, contemplating.

Sighing, Skie fiddled with the hem of her robes, scratched a mosquito bite, rubbed her nose and did all the boring stuff she could think about. Still unable to contain her sugar high energy, Skie spun in dizzy making circles on her until her head got light and carefree. Okay... Much better, Skie thought as she struggled to remain upright on her broom. Hm, it's funny what a little breathlessness will do for your temper! Feeling her energy levels rise even more than they were before, Skie stretched her arms out as she waited for the game to begin.

"OK Skie," Kate laughed. then, looking around she heard the referee start the game. "LETS GO BADGERS!!!" Kate called at the top of her voice, and with out another look back, she flew over to the goalposts she was due to guard.

"Hey, Etta, gonna knock some loins of their cleansweeps when they arrive?" Kate called to Etta and laughed - the spectators had started their dance again.

Come on then, I'm ready for you! She thought, sitting back on her Firebolt 01.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

With an oh so evil Ettie the Innocent angelic smile, Etta saluted Kate and shot off through the air chasing down the first of hopefully many bludgers.

Taking the bull by the horns or rather Bludger by the Bat, Etta rounded on a bludger and took a deep breath.

Her mind was working overtime. Too many choices, too many possibilities to hurt her lovely friend in Gryffindor. Etta sneezed. Her mind suddenly clear, Etta knew she was about to perform the Olly Ooops move she had been practising in training, not stopping to hope and pray she didnt behead poor Pamela Etta's arm flung out as she turned her broom with ease as she swung her arm to the right, in the path of the bludger and her broom to the left for maximum impact.

"Olly Ooooops!" she called as the shiny titanium plated Beater's Bat slammed into the bludger with the force of a bullet being released from a shot gun. The sound reminded Etta of the Cullen's playing baseball.

at least i do this with style she thought whilst controlling her broom from the spin. Her eyes focused on the blur of the Bludger shooting across pitch directly at Pamela's head.

Etta sneezed again, when she opened her eyes she had lost sight of the bludger.

i hope Pamela doesnt sneeze at the wrong moment, i dont want to have to apologise to those kitty cats for beheading their seeker.

(Gryffindor Seeker)

Pamela was having fun flying through the air, and hadn't even noticed that Amy had arrived on the pitch. The balls had been released, and Pamela still had her headphones in her head. This was not a very smart thing to do, considering there was a beater on the field. Not just any beater, either. No, this was Etta, one of the most brutal beaters she'd ever seen. So, there Pamela was warming up, minding her own business and singing along to another favourite of hers: "Misfit" by The Murmurs, when somewhere in the middle of the second verse, she heard a strange sound that didn't fit. It took a second to register that it wasn't part of the music, and another second to register what the sound was. By the time she'd turned around, darling Etta's bludger was extremely close to decapitation range. "Shoot!" Pamela shouted as she began to attempt a sloth grip roll.

The problem was, she'd never had to pull off the manuever in a match. She had practised it a bit, but had never really mastered it completely. As she twisted her body and Firebolt to her left, she nearly lost her balance. She'd not gotten a good enough grip with her legs, and the right one flailed a bit in the air. She felt the bludger hit her ankle with excruciating force. As the pain from the obvious break coursed through her body, Pamela tried with all her might to fight the dizziness. Being upside down and in more pain than she'd ever known before was making her extremely light-headed, but a fall would be far worse. After a few steading breaths, Pamela managed to right herself. Then she made a shallow dive back toward the ground, taking her stupid headphones out of her ear as she did so.

Pamela was quite glad none of her teammates had made it out yet. She didn't want it getting around that she had made such a careless mistake. "What was I thinking?" Pamela demanded of herself, as Madame Pomfrey went to work on mending her ankle. In her defense, she had seen other people listening to their own music while flying. She wouldn't make that mistake again soon. Once her ankle was fixed enough to play, and after minutes of arguing with Madame Pomfrey, Pamela was back in the air. Her iPod was being held in safety by one of her dormmates, so Pamela wouldn't be tempted to distraction again.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"Let the game begin," Skie heard those words in the back of her mind and didn't pay them any heed until she remembered what they meant. OH JUMPING BROOMSTICKS! Skie thought as she raced around the pitch. Spotting the quaffle, Skie realized that there were no Gryffie chasers on the pitch, yet. Okay, breathe, breathe, BREATHE WOMAN! Skie slowed her breathes as she tried to calm down. Her forgetfulness about spotting the quaffle had nearly given her a heart attack. Flying over to the slowly falling quaffle, Skie picked it up in a swift, deft motion and tucked it neatly under her arm.

Oooooh and the keeper's not on the pitch either Skie's grin grew into a huge smile that made her eyes sparkle with happiness, of course it was at the other team's expense, but it was still happiness. Wait, speaking of the other team... Where's Pamela? Skie spotted the seeker on the ground with Madame Pomfrey screaming to be let up into the air with Etta sitting on her broom looking to mischevious to be up to any charity work. Glad that Pamela would be all right, but at the same time happy that Etta had already gotten a bludger at her, Skie resumed her quest for the entrance of almighty quaffle into the Gryffindor goal.

"Keep and eye on the bludgers for me, will ya Etta?" Skie yelled from across the pitch, although she had no need to worry. Etta was a brilliant beater and Skie was definetely glad that she had never been on the receiving end of one of Etta's bludgers. Doing a quick spin, Skie looked up at the darkening clouds and hoped that if it rained, it wouldn't come down in torrents that reminded her of hurricanes. As she clutched the quaffle under her arm carefully, Skie felt a soft drop of rain on her back. Oh, go away why don't you? She thought desperately.

Swinging up in front of the Gryffie goal, Skie adjusted her grip on the qauffle slightly and pushed it into shooting position. Okay, take a deep breath, curve your elbow, and... Skie directed herself carefully, telling herself exactly what to do in order to get the quaffle in, but as the scarlett ball left her outstretched fingertips, nothing could tell her whether the ball went in but the dinging of the bell. Oh Quidditch Lords, let it go in! Shutting her eyes and crossing her fingers, Skie waited in silence for a sign.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

The thing about Bludgers, Etta knew, was that they didn't like to be left unattended for too long, they actually enjoyed having themselves smacked and sent into other people. So why oh why, was she currently sitting here, watching Pamela receive treatment?

Snapping herself to attention, Etta began to scan the sky, a bit pointless really considering something blurred past her eyes directly for ... SKIE!

"SKIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!" squealed Etta, her heart in her mouth, the only Bludger close to her was currently flying directly at their only Chaser.

Thinking fast and quick and with as much evilness as any good evil overlord, Etta kissed her bat and pretended to be a world class gold medallist Javelin thrower ... except she didnt have a javelin, she had a Beater's Bat ... a very hard and painful one ... that still had traces of the Ravenclaw's Head of House Kate's blood on it.

oh badgers tails! Etta thought as she flung the bat with all her strength at the bludger, praying that the old Bludger Survival move would work, considering it hadnt been used for some time.

Without time to think, Etta pushed her broom forward, hoping to catch not only her bat but also the Bludger before any damage was done to their Chaser and Co-Captain.

"Skie! Use the BLUDGER STAND!" Screamed Etta through a mouth full of rain water as she pushed on and on in the hope that she could still reach her team mate but that was beginning to look unlikely right about now.

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kate watched Pamela the Gryfindor seeker fly to the ground. Etta had shot a bludger strait at her and it had ended up hitting her on the ankle and causing an obvious break. However, a little while later, the seeker was back on the pitch. Kate thought it a little odd that the seeker had been listening to an i-pod (a muggle musical device) when all muggle electrics were not supposed to work at hogwarts.

However, dismissing this thought, she watched Skie fly over to the opposing goalposts and shoot. Go in. Please go in. Kate prayed in her head.

Now where are the other players? She wondered. I want some fun.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, Kate saw a bludger heading strait at Skie "SKIE!!! MOVE!" Kate screemed. Then Kate saw something that made her stomach jump into her throat, Etta was attempting the Badger Survival move, a move that had not been attempted in ages.

Please hit it, please! Kate thought.

(huffie beater =] late on registration because of those horrible, huffie mascots!)

Matthew, although held up by the Hufflepuff mascot, ran onto the pitch slightly breathless. Bobette was a swore looser, and apparently she had violent friends, his qudditch robes had taken the brunt of the hatered, he had been able to repair his robes, but his poor bat was still bearing the marks of sharp teeth.
"Accio Nimbus 2000!" he yelled to the skies holding up his wand. He waited, possibly a little too long, "stupid broken dum broom," he hissed mounting it ten minutes later.

Up in the skies Matthew spotted his fellow beater, the mad, loopy and dilusional Etta. "Hello my little friend he said tapping he back end of her broom with his bat, you really need to keep those little badgers up!" he yelled flying off towards a bludger,"Rotating Power Beat!" he yelled to himself, spinning three times and wacking the bludger towards Pam. "BOOOYYYAAAAA!!!" he yelled after hitting the bludger, but all he could see was the world spinning in a slow motion...
"maybe not.." he said flying lower so he knew where he was.

Gryffindor Chaser

Erika got up late and she ran down to the Quidditch Pitch.
Im late, How can I be late. Im NEVER late! Erika mumbled in her head as she grabbed her broom and flied into the air.
A bludger had benn sent strait for Pam. The Thunder Roll was to be used, this was a form of the Lightning Manuvur, a Chaser was to kick off in the form of a lightning bolt to gain speed. The Thunder Roll combined the Lightning Manuvur to gain speed then the player was to circle the player in which was in danger from a bludger. This would hopefully confuse the bludger, since it was never actully used in a game Erika wasnt sure if it would work. They only practiced it a few times.
It was important Erika thought to make the bludger go after her for Pam could continue to look for the snitch. Erika kicked off, flying jagged like the shape of Lightning.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Etta was mid dive when she caught sight of the arrival of yet another victim gryffindor.

Tilting her head to the left and then to the right, Etta watched what she thought to be a Chaser being a Beater.

Its always a bad move to take your eyes off one, a bludger heading straight at your friend and team mate, and two, a titanium beater's bat which was falling not far from your very own head.

Etta looked up just as her bat landed squarely between her eyes on the bridge of nose.

"OWWWWWWWWWW OWWWWIE OW OW!" she screamed as pain filled her face and her nose exploded in a sea of scarlet.

Etta's hands flew to her nose, her control over the somewhat usually naughty broom was lost. As she began to plummet to earth Etta did the only thing she could.

Releasing her nose and the sea of blood, Etta gripped the tilt of her broom, pulling it up hard as if she were pulling on a hand break in a car, her broom shuddered in disagreement as it realised it's passenger would not be hitting the earth and screaming with more pain.

At such speed, the broom came within meters of the ground and pulled up, allowing Etta to ride it across the grass and straight into the waiting hands of Madam Pomfrey.

"Ha and they said the Champs Delight wouldn't work when your broom hates you, OWWWW! BE CAREFUL IT HURTS!" Etta hissed at the stern looking matron. "Sorry," she added as Madam Pompfrey got to work.

(huffie Beater, now in full swing if the game =])

Matthew watched as the girl flew onto the pitch,
"whoa!" he said, amazed at her flying skills.
"ill give her a run for her money!" he yelled at his team members.
Flying in and out of people he chased her along the pitch, his head down so he could gather more speed from the broom.
"Hello!" he said to the girl once beside her "nice day isn't it?" his eyes glared down to the pitch and bobette was standing there cheering them on,
"Aaaaaaaaacccchhhhhhhhhh!!!" he yelled terrified at the badger. Inches away from crashing his broom he re-gathered strenght and flew back to the Gyffie chaser,
"you know it is a pitty your the only chaser here, and we have a keeper, you don't.." he smiled broadly at her...
"Wanna play?" he asked gestering towards the huffie goal posts...

With her nose fixed and no more blood, her face back to its usual flawless pale, Etta headed back into the air.

What she saw made her mouth drop in disbelief.

"OI! Matthew! STOP CHATTING UP THE LADIES AND START HITTING PEOPLE!" she yelled, throwing her bat, which was covered in her own blood straight at his shoulder.

Shaking her head, Etta wondered if Matthew would bring her bat back once it had done its job.

i doubt it she thought as she turned her attention back to Skie, the impending goal and the increasingly near Bludger which had thankfully lost some speed from her bat's assault on it.

"MATTHEW!" Etta shouted, quickly gaining speed. "Bring my Bat back, please, and dont you say no or else i'll lock you in my office and make you play Table Tennis with Bobette and Bobina!"

and as an after thought Etta added. "For ETERNITY!"

Kate watched in awe at the sudden increase of pace in the game. Matthew had arrived, another Lion had arrived, Etta had been hit in the nose by a beaters bat and the quaffle was still headed for the goalposts. This was all too much and Kate had to do a few back flips to get back in the game.

"Alright Matthew?" She called to her fellow team mate when she was finally upright again. "What kept you?" She joked.

Kate sat back a little more comfortably on her broom. So where are the other players? She wondered.

Matthew roled his eyes at the bat flying towards him....
"Reducto!" he yelled at it,
"reparo!" he yelled another spell..
He zoomed down onto the pitch to get the bat and threw it back at Etta...
"There you go butter fingers!" he yelled at her..

He looked around the pitch and didn't see anything unusual except for the Gyffies had been low in numbers...
"hahahahahahahaha!!" he bellowed,
"Alright Kate!" he said as she flew past, ignoring her joke..

(Commentator)

Violet walked outside, an umbrella over her head. “Haha, I pity those who will not have one.” She said, walking to the megaphone and score board. Clearing her throat, she tapped it. “Is this thing on? Yes, hm, Welcome to the 19 house Quidditch game! Today, Hufflepuff, aka, the Huffie will play against, Gryffindor, aka, the Gryffries.” She shouted out to the people. Violet looked at everyone on the field, which wasn’t much. “Hm, seems some didn’t want to come. We have on the huffie side, Etta, the beater, Skie, the co-captain and chaser, and Kate, the Keeper. And on the Gryffie said, we have no one.” Violet said.

“Looks like the Huffie are doing some kind of….dance?” She said, squinting her eyes. “Yes! These Huffies came up with a dance, and how they do that in the rain, beats me.” Violet said, looking down at the Huffies. “I guess the captains are showing right now. Hm, maybe they forgot? I doubt it, what kind of game would this be without a captain!” Violet shouted. “It looks like these Huffies are in the mode! Everyone is dancing, even me. BUT I SUPPORT NO TEAM…..ok, Go HUFFIES!!!” Violet yelled. “Now All they need of the Gryffies and the rest of the Huffies and this will be one good game!” She shouted, a rain drop hitting her head. “What use is an umbrella if it doesn’t work?” She asked herself.

Violet looked back into the pitch to see someone. “I cant believe it! A Gryffie finally made it! Pam! Or who I like to call Pammers! Yes the seeker from the Gryffies made it, and she looks happy…..I think. Anyway, oh look! It’s Duck the Duck, or as you know, the Referee!” Violet shouted. “And she as let the balls go. Who gets it first….I know that answer, a Huffie. But which one?” She asked. “Oh, it seems these Huffies have a plan. Wonder what it is?” She asked. “Oh! It looks like someone was trying to hurt the Gryffies, badly, I wonder if she dodges it?” Violet asked. “Oh, she does, wait. No? Oh Pammers, your ankle, I do hope you get the fix.” Violet said, feeling bad.

“It looks like the Huffie chaser, Skie, as gotten the quaffle. And it seems like a bludger is going for the Huffie Skie. Does she dodge it? What in the world is Etta doing? She has just threw her bat at the bludger. Does it do anything? It seems like the Huffies are praying for it to work. That would really hurt if it hits, I think. I’ve never been hit.” She said.

“Oh look! Matthew decided to join. Poor guy, I think. Anyway. He plays…Huffie’s beater!” She yelled, looking at them. “Oh dear, everyone seems to be hurting my Pammers. “She said, “Do try and dodge that.” She said, getting a whack in the head. “What, it’s my fault she is my friend.” Violet mumbled, looking at the person who did it. “And we have another Gryffie out here, the chaser Erika! Looks like Matthew is flirting and is afraid, poor guy. And Etta, ouch, that’s gotta hurt. Yes, go and fix your nose dear.” She said, watching. “This game is getting better. Oh look, Etta is fussing at Matt, sorry dude, looks like someone is in trouble.” Violet sang, laughing. “Yes, bring her her bat or she’ll make you play tennis. Better then me trying to force feed you.” She mumbled, getting another whack on the head. “Ow, would you please stop that?” She asked, getting another whack. “Ok, I’m sorry. Oh look, Etta has her bat back. Try saying that four times fast.” Violet shouted, rubbing her head.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"WAH!" Skie screamed as the rogue bludger came at her at the speed of light, well, more like at the speed of a bludger but... performing the Bludger Stand, a move that she had uncovered thanks to searching through an old quidditch book, Skie rotated on her broom, did a handstand and watched with happiness as the bludger passed between her legs. "Oh yeah, oh yeah, the bludger didn't hit me!" Skie sand happily in her retro oh- so- nerdy disco voice. Swinging back onto her broom, Skie wondered if her qauffle had gone in after she shot it (which was way more than three posts ago just in case anyone forgot)into the goals while she was being the idiot almost hit by a bludger. Searching around, Skie saw the sullen Hufflepuff crowd and assumed the worst.

"We lost the quaffle?" She asked Etta with tears brewing in her eyes as if it were a baby and not a goal. "Oh tell me we didn't lose it- My bab- Wait, what?" Skie turned from her chat with Etta to the sound of happy screams from the Huffies and... the ding of a bell? Yup, the ding of a bell. It took a second for it to process, but when it did, Skie exploded with joy. "WE DIDN'T LOSE THE BABY- I MEAN QAUFFLE!" Skie cried, elated. Doing a victory loop around the stands, Skie waited for the qauffle to be thrown back into play. As soon as she saw the little red devil enter the airspace, Skie dove down and held the qauffle gently cradling it in her arms. "Good wittle quaffle, good um... it." Unable to figure out whether the qauffle was a boy or a girl, Skie decided that the qauffle was an it.

"Oh, I didn't lose the qauffle, Etta's gonna kill Rose, Kate's ready to save goals, and Matthew's hitting on a Gryffie." Skie's singsong voice was immediately interrupted by her brain saying WHAT IN THE WORLD?! "MATTHEW! STOP HITTING ON THAT GRYFFINDOR AND SHOOT A BLUDGER AT HER!" Skie's voice was well, amused, but angry. "If you want to ask her out for coffee, you may do it AFTER the game." Skie said to the beater. "Oh, I've got nothing against you, Erika, but someone shouldn't be flirting during a game. No, no, improper conduct." Giggling about how old she sounded Skie returned to her task, getting her qauffle back into the Gryffie goals. Now that there was another chaser, things were gonna get interesting.

"Come on HUFFLEPUFF!" Kate screamed as the Quaffle went in the goal. Her cry was answered by the crowd screaming back. The people in badger suits had started to dance again.

So... a griffie Chaser. Things are about to get alot more interesting! Kate thought with a grin.

"Hey, Matthew, you gonna hit a bludger or not?!" She grinned.

"Come on Badgers!"

Gryffindor Chaser

Erika heard Matthew, and all the other Huffies yealing at him to hit a ball.
"Oh yeah, pitty me. I came to play, didnt you?!" She asked in a rather rambuntious voice. She didnt sit around to take a hit, she flew over and circled grabbing the Quaffle which had went into the goal.
"Just you wait, June and Cris will come!" She shouted.
Hopefully... she thought.
June always came on time, like herself but why wasnt she here this time, and her sister Cris. Why wasnt SHE there? She needed help. You cant win a game with one Chaser and a Seeker

*Um, Erika, I'm in possession of the qauffle right now, so I'll just ignore your post. Sorry*

Skie lurched forward on her broom, the qauffle safely positioned under her arm, safe from the rain, and any naughty, naughty chasers that would want to steal it from her. Feeling the beginning of an attack of the rain on her back, Skie winced. "Oh my good badgery stars, I do believe that it's raining. Ho- hum, what a disaster!" Being Skie, she mimicked the mannerisms of those old muggle sitcoms that she listened to when she was bored. "Well, oh... um... I give up!" Throwing up her arms in a gesture of despair for the fact that her oldies accent wasn't perfect, Skie forgot a very important thing. The qauffle was under her arm. "NO!" Skie yelled at the top of her lungs, feeling the 'You are such a loser' emotion set in as she searched for the qauffle through the slowly thickening rain. "Stupid, stupid, stupid. You don't even deserve to be a Hufflepuff you... you... you... Sane person!" Skie berated herself endlessly. "Why? Why? Why am I so useless?" Skie muttered incoherently in her grief, her head spinning. "I've lost the qauffle! I'm a useless chunk of flesh and bones..." As Skie continued her rescue mission for the qauffle, she couldn't help but fear that the other chaser would get to it first.

Gryffindor Chaser ^_^
* I did not know that, thanks for telling me. *

Erika watched as the Quaffle fell out of the Chasers hands. She was to do her job, she raced down to Quaffle and from underneath it as it fell she grabbed it and she did the Prowling Lion, a move (The Gryffindor Lions, No Duhh) created. This was used by Chasers to hide the ball where no one could see it and prowl to the goal to Score.

“Oh my goodness, poor MATT! Getting yelled at for flirting, haha, I feel sorry for you, No date until after the game young man.” Violet said, smiling. “Oh was that a ding I hear?” She asked, pushing down a number on the scoreboard. “Huffie 10, Grffies 0” She shouted, “Come one, you can do better!” She shouted to the Gryffies. “No offence Huffies.” She told them, getting a whack in the head. “Quit getting off track.” the person sneered. “Sorry, but I did nothing but say the truth.” Violet told her, smiling innocently.

“Oh lala, looks like our only chaser gryffies isn’t happy, no she isn’t.” Violet said, holding her umbrella over her more. “Oh my God! THE HUFFIE DROPPED THE QUAFFLE!” Violet yelled. “That means, go Gryffie, get that! Oh it looks like she did!” Violet yelled, looking down.

"Oh mighty Hufflepuff Quidditch Gods, send your lightning down and freakin' kill me!" Skie yelled into the heavens. "I LET THE LION GET MY QAUFFLE! SHE STOLE MY BABY!" Skie was in hysterics, her short hair flying in every which way as she dementedly grabbed at it and tried to yank it out. "Okay, I'm done!" Smiling, Skie regained her happy attitude after her... meltdown. "Now I'm ready to work like a mature adult and wait for the qauffle to be spotted." Skie spun around in a quick circle to find that Gryffie chaser. Hm... Me no see the qauffle... But there's no other chasers... Did she somehow not catch it? Naw, there was no way, she had to have it. Common sense said so! Not that common sense is always listened to, though Skie added as an afterthought. "So where is she hiding it... Her broom? Under her arm?" Skie was perplexed to see that the qauffle was no where in sight. Okay, I know you have it... but where? Skie's train of thought was totally confused.

"Stupid hiding qauffle," Skie muttered darkly. "I'll get you, mark my words. I'll get you Sir Qauffle. You can run but you can't hide!" Giving an evil laugh, Skie returned to staring at the Gryffindor Chaser and trying to figure out where that blasted qauffle was. "Nope, nope, nope, nope... And I can't even divebomb her until I know where it is!" Skie wailed. Then a brilliant vision of pure Hufflepuff destructiveness struck Skie. "Oh yes, oh yes, me likey this idea." With her most evil grin plastered onto her face, Skie raced towards the Gryffindor chaser. The poor thing had no idea about what was in store for her.

(Hufflepuff Beater)

Etta watched in dispair as Skie dropped the Quaffle.

oh my giddy aunt wearing merlin's dirty underpants, she thought to herself as she realised that the Gryffindor Chaser had caught the Quaffle and had hidden it from view. Sneaky, very sneaky.

Deciding the only thing she could do was allow her inner evil over lord self to take control of her mind and body, Etta did just that.

A flash of red flickered into her eyes as she rounded on a Bludger. Performing the Dizzy Badger Stalker move, Etta controlled the Bludger on the end of her bat whilst flying directly to the Gryffindor Chaser. She began to fly round the prowling Chaser quickly in a circle, mere feet from her, Etta gained more and more speed, leaving little room for the Chaser to escape.

As Etta began to get dizzy herself, she knew the Chaser would soon begin to feel the familiar sensation fo sickness which occured with the move. Raising her right arm with her Beater's Bat, Etta released the bludger quickly, whilst pulling her arm back, gaining enough force to send the Bludger directly for the Chaser's face.

Knowing only too well the backlash that followed this this move, Etta performed the Badger Drop, flattening herself out on her broom and dropping down, her legs crossed tightly clinging to the broom so she didnt fall. Her only thought was that Kate would move away from the Bludger should it bounce in her direction as they were nearing the Hufflepuff goals.

"WOO! GO ETTA! Well, I was going to dive bomb her until she lost the qauffle, but I like your way better," Skie winced in preparation for the Gryffie chaser's pain. "Do you happen to know where she's hiding my baby, by the way?" Skie asked as she raced over towards the chaser, her broom gaining speed with every second that she flew. "My qauffle lies over the ocean, My qauffle lies over the sea, My qauffle lies over the ocean, Oh bring my qauffle back to me!" Skie sand loudly and raucously as her broom sped towards the spot where the chaser was. "MY QAUFFLIE'S COMING BACK TO ME!" Skie screamed, her voice raising to a nails on chalkboard screech at the end. "Hm... I wonder if I broke any glass?" Skie reflected out loud. And if Etta's genius plan somehow didn't work, there was always the dive bomb until mayhem ensues option. I've got you now my pretty qauffle. MUHAHAHAHAHA. Oh, and I hope that chaser doesn't, you know, die or nothing, 'cuz I'd feel really bad... Skie thought as she waited directly under the chaser, ready to kidnap her beloved qauffle back. There was nothing better than a good qauffle steal to raise your morale, after all.

Kate was just sitting relaxing on her broom when suddenly - WHAM! There was a bludger heading strait at the Gryfiie Chaser. "OH MY GOD!!!" She screamed, it would proboably hit her after!!!

Without another moments thought, she dropped off her broom (incase it hit before she got away) and held on with her hands. The badger fall, then she flew away from direct hit.

Now where is that quaffle?
She wondered, flipping back the right way.

Matthew sighed as he say that the Gyffie chaser hid the quaffle. There was only one thing for it, to do the same again huffie spinn beat he saw a bludger that was open for strike, "gotcha!" he yelled as he spotted it. Matthew zoomed over to the bludger and spun threee times, his was again dizzy but what could he do,
Whack! the bludgfer hit the bat with force, making it break in half, he swore at the pain, as the broken half had hit him in th face. The bludger still went were he wanted it to be but he was now-batless he knew Etta would find this hulairious, just his luck. Matthew waited to see if the bludger hit to unexpecting gyffie chaser.

Kate watched with anticipation as Matthew was hit in the face with his own bat. "Are you OK Matthew?" Kate called to him. Then, to everyone else, "Does anyone have a spare bat?".

The only reason Kate was asking this was because she knew Etta would be the only one with a bat that was left on the team and Hufflepuff couldnt afford to lose another player.

As Kate waited for a reply for both questions, she watched to see if the Bludger hit its target.

Please please hit! She prayed.

"Hit her! Hit her! Hit her! Hit her! Hit her! Hit her!" Skie's chanting was interrupted by a sudden thought by her conscience. But what if she's hurt? Said the nice part of Skie's brain. "She's supposed to get hurt silly! I need her to drop that qauffle!" Skie's impatience with her conscience interrupting her chanting showed in her angry voice. But do you really want her to hurt, or even die? Asked her conscience in a 'Tell Me How You Feel About That' voice. "Okay, fine. I hope she gets hit, but she doesn't die and she just get knocked off of her broom and caught by Madame Pomfrey," Skie said to appease her lovely conscience. "But no matter what, I get the qauffle." Skie had a, well, mostly one track mind, and right now, she wanted that qauffle back.

Hearing a sharp crack in the immediate space above her, Skie saw a flying chunk of beater bat wood come crashing down on her head after it had already hit Matthew. "THE SKY IS FALLING!" Skie screamed dramatically as the chunk hit the front of her broom and sent her into a dizzy- making flip, and all she could do was hold on tight. Oh Merlin Skie thought as the flip reached it's apex, all the blood rushing to her head. Why? Why does Matthew have to hit the stupid bludger so hard? Why? Skie's red face as she flipped would have been hilarious to any bystander, minus the 'I'm Here For Blood' look of course. Finally, when she was righted on her broom, Skie warily moved out from under Matthew and back under the chaser. "Ouch," she said, rubbing her face in her hands and trying to make the blood come back into the rest of her body. "Geez Matthew, you hit hard!" Skie yelled up at him. Now the only thing left to do was to wait to get the qauffle back.

-Gryffindor Chaser-

It was all her, so much weight was being pushed on her, all the huffies were against her. The Seeker couldnt help her here. She had to get the snitch, that was her only priority.
"I need help..." she mummbled as she flew. The Huffies allready knew she had the Quaffle, She was the only one that could have, more likely even HOLD the Quaffle. All odds were now against her.
"Unfair Match!" She called to the Refs or at least the Commentator. She flew on, Matt was flying around her and a Bludger seemed to follow him, and as she did she notice a fast paced Bludger comeing her way. Erika flinched and her broom swayed in an unfriendly sort of way. She was flown off the side of the broom and she held onto the broom upside down still hold thing the Quaffle under her right arm.
"UNFAIR MATCH!" she shreaked once more as she tried to pull herself back up.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

Skie laughed maniacally as a bludger attacked and tried to bloody poor Erika. HAHAHA! Now she has shown me her secret hiding spot... Under her arm! Wait, why didn't I see that? Geez, you idiot! Were you raised with the Dursley's or something? Skie gave herself a mental slap in the face as she realized that Erika's hiding spot for the quaffle had been the most obvious spot of all. For the second time in the match, Skie was ready to Avada Kedavra herself and just give up, but this time, she had something a little more important than her utter doofusness on her mind. I is coming for you baby! Skie thought anxiously. There were only a few moments till Erika would right herself on her broom. Flying at Erika with the concentrated face of a bungee jumper, Skie dive bombed the girl and swung up with only inches to spare. Hoping that the move had disgruntled the chaser enough to release her grip on the qauffle, not that it really mattered, Skie went in for her second dive and scooped the qauffle out of Erika's arms and gently placed it into her own.

"Momma's got you baby, no one's gonna take you away from me." Skie crooned in her baby voice to the qauffle. "You're nice and safe now! And you're ready to go into those nasty Gryffie goals too, right honey?" Skie sounded quite mad at this point, not that she had ever been sane, but she still had her eyes on the obstacles ahead. In front of her, there was an open airspace full of bludgers, rain, and another chaser who possibly could have not fallen off of her broom like she was supposed to. Of course, she had also been screaming about an unfair match... which it really wasn't considering that almost every team had it's games where the most of the team forgot to come, or they were to busy to go.

"It's a good qauffle, loves to score in goals. Loves being thrown and making bells ding. It's a good qauffle, in my arms. Will score goals for my team and I!" Skie made up her own lyrics to Tom Petty's popular song, Free Fallin' as she raced down the pitch, her eyes out for anything that might disrupt her singing, or steal her qauffle. Switching songs when she ran out of words, Skie smoothly slipped back into old folk songs that she found in black and white movie reruns. "Score for, score for. Score for my quaffle for me, for me! Score for, score for. Score for my qauffle for me!" Skie sang, practically screaming the words. The song showed a strong resemblance to My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean, but with Skie you never could tell. For all you knew she could be singing to It's a Small World...

- Gryffindor Chaser -

Oh Damn It!
Erika cursed in her mind as she climbed up to her broom. As she already knew she needed to do something fast or Skie would get the Quaffle he knew was under her arm. The move she dared to do was so darring that she was dumb enough to do it. The Drop wasnt her only hope if she had others to help her, but it was a move in which she needed to move fast when she got on her broom because she DIDN'T have anyone to help her.
The Drop was a sophisticated move where all you had to do was drop the ball. In a normal game a player would fly down to grab it and fly to the goal to score. She wasnt in a normal game, she was in an unfair game in her opinion. It was her and pamela, but she did it. At a blink of an she dropped the Quaffle strait down at increasing speeds. She got onto her broom fast and steady she zoomed down chasing for the falling Quaffle.

(Hufflepuff Chaser and Co- Captain)

"NOT AFTER MY BABY YOU DON'T" Skie shrieked at the top of her lungs as Erika attempted to dodge her dive bomb technique, titled Badger Bomb. "STAY AWAY FROM MY QAUFFLE!" Like any mother, Skie would keep her qauffle by her at all costs. "No, no, and more no. You are not getting my darling qaufflie, even if it kills me." Skie muttered as she raced after the scarlet ball. Diving in in front of Erika, Skie snatched the qauffle from the air where it was slowly falling and swung out to the right to recollect her thoughts. Okay, so now I have the qauffle back... And what do I do with it? You panty hose with runs wearing, underwear on head, slimy, stupid idiot! The qauffle! You're supposed to score with it! Geez, seriously, you need to get a grip and visit your psychologist again. Skie's thoughts toward herself were none to nice, and she hung her head in shame from the endless attack from her self esteem.

"But I don't wanna go back to the funny farm!" Skie said in a helpless voice. "It was bad, bad, bad!" She cried to the voice inside her head. "And I know YOU didn't like it either!" Ending the conversation going on in her head with a triumphant smirk Skie turned her attention back to the qauffle. Feeling a little unbalanced with the way the ball was positioned, Skie performed the Huffle Shuffle to get the ball back into it's proper place. As she adjusted her body on her broom, Skie simultaneously switched the arm that was holding the qauffle and made her grip stronger and very near vice like in it's hold on the qauffle. "You're not getting away from me young... thing." Skie said, still very confused about whether the qauffle was male or female.

"Okay, so next order of business... getting you into the Gryffie goal!" Skie landed upon her next idea and tackled it with vigor. "Hm... my mischief senses are tingling," she said with a small giggle. "Oh, this is going to be so good. Hufflepuff Missile Attack away!" Skie screamed at the top of her lungs, the sound filling her vocal chords and spilling out of her lips. Doing full barrel rolls and feeling the dizzyness of being upside down and blood rushing from her hands into her brain, Skie completed all of her rolls with perfect execution. "Three... two... one!" Skie yelled as she completed her last roll, which left her right in front of the Gryffie goal. Ducking down on her broom, Skie pressed her weight into a full nose dive into the green grass on the pitch. As she pulled up at the last second and felt the rain wet grass on the end of her boots, Skie pulled up with all of her might and paused for a mere second in front of the leftmost goal.

Stretching her arms into a perfect serving formation, Skie threw the ball up with her hands and as it flew slowly towards the clouds, she brought her broom up, around and smacked the red ball towards the red and gold goal. "That, is a well executed Hufflepuff Missile Attack!" Skie said, breathless, only seconds after the ball left her fingertips. Oh.. Oh... that was not my best shot Skie fretted as she endlessly worried about the qauffle's fate. The only thing that could reassure her now was the ding of the bell in a score for the Hufflepuff side. Bending her arms in an arcing motion, Skie cracked her back to try to relieve some of the tension. "Good Merlin, Quidditch Gods, Bobbette and Bobina, let the qauffle go into those goals!" Skie said, raising her arms to the heavens above. Now, the only thing she could do would be... wait, and patience had never been one of Skie's becoming virtues.

(Hufflepuff Keeper)
Go in, Go in, please go in. The bludger that had been aiming strait at Kate had somehow been knocked off course, ans she was now watching Skie shoot the Quaffle at the hoops.

"Go Skie!!" She called.

Nothing much was happening down Kates end of the pitch, but plenty was happening at the other. A quaffle was heading for the goals, a bludger was headed strait for Matthew and there were only 2 Gryffindor players on the pitch. Things were good for the Badgers.

But will it stay this way? She thought.

"Come on Hufflepuff!" Kate called to the spectators. "Hufflepuff Shuffle!" All of the suporters of Hufflepuff jumped up in thier badger suits and started their dance. "LETS WIN THIS THING!" Kate called.

Gryffindor Chaser

Erika watched as Skie threw the ball to the Rings, the Quaffle didnt seem fast enough to stay in the air to go that far into the hoop. She flew hard to chase after in Quaffle.
Come on, COME ON!! She thought as the Quaffle was in arms legnth of reach.
"No point for Hufflepuff this time!!" She shouted as the ball fell into her arms and she circled performing the Prowling Lion even though it didn't madder. It was a smart idea to hold the Quaffle firm.

It was her turn to prounce into action. She used the same move she always did to gain speed, The Lightning Manuvur, it gave everyone else a run for their money for she was the one who did it the best. She sliced down the field, but it wasnt her best. She could be flying on a Comet 2-50 and be as fast as a Firebolt going at normal spped and end up on the other side of the field at the same time.
"Here I go!" She said to herself as she threw the Quaffle at a good speed.
Hopefully it will go in...

*pardon me, but according to one of the new rules about quidditch, you have to wait at least three posts, or until your keeper posts, until you can say whether I scored or not. Not including your post, there has only been one post. So, that means that I'll just have to ignore your post. Sorry*

"Merlin's dirty green pants, let my qauffle go in!" Skie said, crossing her fingers and parying for time to pass more slowly. If it doesn't go in, then you are in so much trouble. Rose will feed you to Bobbette, who will rip you to shreds, and then she'll feed the pieces to Bobina, and after that, when you're cremated, she'll let the whole quidditch team spit on your grave. Skie's imagination ran away with her, leaving Skie huddled up on her broom and practically in hysterics. "I... I... I don't wanna die!" Skie murmured, her voice breaking. "Oh please qauffle, oh please, oh please, oh please go in! I'm not asking for a lot, just go in!" Putting her hand to her forehead and wiping the sweaty hair out of her eyes, Skie resumed spinning in circles as she tried to pass the time, so her nerves didn't make her keel over and fall onto the green pitch.

"My quaffle is a wonderful quaffle! My qauffle is going to score. Hufflepuff will gain ten points, my qauffle is so wonderful!" Skie sang to the tune of Cielito Lindo. For some reason, today, she had a love of old songs. "Ay, ay, ay, ay. My qauffle is wonderful. My qauffle will score the points for me, or Rose will slowly eat my soul." Skie squeaked out the last part with fear because of her captain coloring her voice. What type of Dark Age torture will she put me through if I miss this? Skie wondered with sweat beading on her forehead. Uh- oh, knowing Rose, it could be anything. She could make me watch Hannah Montana every day... or worse... Skie's 'torture' was fairly not torturous for other people... but for Skie, you could be sure that her screams would not go unnoticed. Oh no... Hannah Montana and her catchy lyrics! No, no, no, don't think about that! Skie could feel the teenage popstar's bubbly lyrics on the tip of her tongue. "NO! I WILL NOT SING THAT!" Skie screamed as the words started to leak out of her mouth. And I don't even know if I've scored yet... thought Skie as she slumped down on her broom having defeated the curse of lyrics that easily got stuck in your head. Of course, that thought brought on a whole new round of anxiousness, fear, and butterflies in the stomach.

Matthew, suspended in mid air watched in awe as the quaffle swored into the goalposts
*DING!!!!*
The quaffle went in with ease, "Oh thank the heavens on earth." he realised that he had a little making up with his team to do, he had mistaken a fly for a bludger, he thought the fly was massive cus he was wearing his blind grannys glasses.

Matthew flew around the pitch in his glory laughing and throwing his arms about the place screaming, he flew iver to Skie, "well done!" he yelled at her laughing, "okay lets win and fast cus im getting hungry, im sure lunch is soon isn't it?" he asked her not bothering to check his own watch. "This games a bit borrrriiiiiinggggggg isn't it.." he admitted to her, "I'm borrrreeeeddddd" he yelled at the ref. He quickly turned around after saying that pretending it wasn't him, the ref might throw him off the pitch if she thought he didn't want to be there.

Minutes later the game was in full swin again... "Okay team lets get this going! whoooooooooooooooopppppppppp!" he screamed flying up and down the pitch, still batless

(Hufflepuff Keeper)

Kate did a figure 8 in the air on her broom. "Go Skie!" She yelled, a smile spreading across her face. This is a good game. She thought.

Now where is that Quaffle? Kate wondered momentarily, before looking up to see the spectators doing their dance again.

"GO HUFFLEPUFF!" Kate screamed.
